While Hendrick Hudson High School was recognized for an eighth consecutive year by Project Lead the Way — the only high school in New York State to receive that distinction in that time period — this year Blue Mountain Middle School was also honored. Blue Mountain was named a PLTW Distinguished Gateway School.

Hendrick Hudson senior Lena Pfeiffer was recently chosen as the winner of the Visionary Engineering Award at the 2025 Regeneron Westchester Science & Engineering Fair (WESEF).
