Inspired by fall cultural celebrations around the world, Studio Art students at Hendrick Hudson High School are creating sculptures.

With a stockpile of clothes, jackets, shoes, and accessories from past editions of the annual Hendrick Hudson High School Fashion Show, event organizers and members of the PTSA hosted a sale at the school cafeteria on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

A science project by three Hendrick Hudson High School students led to an extensive cleanup of nearby Buchanan Pond.

Hendrick Hudson students were among those celebrate at the PNW BOCES Tech Center Recognition Ceremony.

Hendrick Hudson senior Oakley Gougelmann was honored as the district’s scholarship award winner during a breakfast with the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce.

The robotics team composed of Hendrick Hudson students Nick Lowy, Matthew Mason, Max Parker and Braxton Shoults recently completed a busy season of competitions at the VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas.

Thirty students in the Careers and Financial Management course at Hendrick Hudson High School successfully passed the WISE Financial Literacy Certification Test on June 5, 2025.

Hendrick Hudson High School junior George Garcia Sagastume was recently named a 2026 Horatio Alger New York Scholar and will receive $10,000 for college tuition.

While Hendrick Hudson High School was recognized for an eighth consecutive year by Project Lead the Way — the only high school in New York State to receive that distinction in that time period — this year Blue Mountain Middle School was also honored. Blue Mountain was named a PLTW Distinguished Gateway School.

Biomedical Science students in Dr. Jeanine Hall's class used a simulated arm to learn how to stop bleeding in an emergency situation.

There were 41 students from Hendrick Hudson High School inducted into the World Language Honor Societies on April 24, 2025.

Athletic Director Tom Baker was presented with a Going for the Unified Gold Award, receiving the honor from the Special Olympics on April 27, 2025 at West Point.

Students from Hendrick Hudson High School and Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School had an opportunity to forge a bond and collaborate on the Dynamic Duo project, where one or two fourth-grade ENL students came together with a high school student to create a digital children’s book

Hendrick Hudson High School Marketing students designed newsletters for a local Applebee's that highlighted aspects of the restaurant chain. Their work will be on display at Applebee's in Mohegan Lake.

Hendrick Hudson High School is celebrating the success of four outstanding students who were accepted into the prestigious American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir, which took place this past March in Dallas.

The Balourdet Quartet, a professional string ensemble, spent a day working with Hendrick Hudson musicians as part of Friends of Music's Partnership in Education program.

Hendrick Hudson senior Lena Pfeiffer was recently chosen as the winner of the Visionary Engineering Award at the 2025 Regeneron Westchester Science & Engineering Fair (WESEF).

The Hen Hud indoor track and field team recently completed a successful 2024-25 winter season that saw several athletes establish new school records and compete in Nike Indoor Nationals.

A guest speaker from Regeneron provided BioMed students at Hendrick Hudson High School with insight into the life of a scientist and helped connect his research and experiments with what they are learning in class.

March is celebrated across the country as National Athletic Training Month. Hendrick Hudson's athletic trainer, Meg Greiner, has worked with Sailor athletes for nearly 23 years. "My job," Greiner said, "is to be there and help them continue doing what they love."

Hendrick Hudson's annual K-12 Visual Art Show is now on exhibit at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library. The exhibit will be on display from March 28 to April 28 in the library's Community Room and features artwork from students all five of the district's schools.
