Hendrick Hudson Students Given a Preview of 'The Little Mermaid'
A little more than 48 hours before curtains are raised on Hendrick Hudson’s performance of “The Little Mermaid,” students throughout the district received a sneak preview of the show.
The cast of this year’s spring musical performed several songs at each of the other four schools during the school day on Wednesday. The young students were treated to fan favorites such as “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” and “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and were introduced to main characters Ariel, Prince Eric, Sebastian and more.
Theater director Clare Carey introduced each act and encouraged students to attend the full production this weekend.
The HHHS Theater Department will produce four shows total: Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 16 at 1 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, March 17 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens aged 65 and over and can be purchased here: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/80084
